My Master!

Cassie Cat

Her Royal Cassie-ness finally decided to stop being a reluctant photographic subject and let me photography her.

Again, it was a bit of a learning curve as the light was really bad in the room and I didn’t want to up the ISO because this time, I wanted sharp focus with no graininess.  That meant slowing down the shutter speed and then camera shake set in.

I solved the camera shake problem by putting the camera flat on the floor and cheated and turned on the auto focus.  Luckily her ladyship lay still for long enough.

All in all, I think I managed to capture the magnificence of Her Royal Cassie-ness.

  1. I like the tones in the pic. Composition works for me. Her expression suggests she has resigned herself to the fact you have a camera and will take pics regardless. To much effort to resist. Smart Cat picking her arguments.

  2. Mr Bartokomousse: She was in an odd mood – I think it was a case of “Why is mom so close and not scratching me! I’m (always) ready for scratches.” And thank you for the compliments.
