… The Bad and the Ugly.

What exactly should be classified as bad and what is ugly, I don’t know.  Bad and Ugly sort of go hand in hand.  But, one thing that is really, really freak out ugly right now is My Left Foot (with apologies to all the necessary people).

Being back in the city means many opportunities, doesn’t it?  Oh, more jobs, more money, more ridiculously overpriced places to live in.  Well, cities aren’t just opportunities for humans.  Oh no, the large population produces many opportunities for tiny little organisms that cause a variety of maladies.

Since 1 December 2008 my body has been invaded by numerous little noenoes on various occasions, blessing me with all sorts of interesting ailments ranging from ‘flu, colds, an infection too weird to mention and yet another infection too weird not to mention.

Everyone has had blisters, right?  And when you get a blister from trying to wear in new shoes, the blister tends to pop when the new shoes rub on it continuously, right?  Okay, so we are on the same page.  But who the hell is treated to a lovely, red, swollen foot because some nasty little bacteria decided that the gaping wound looked like a comfy place to make a home in?

Right now, despite the fact that being more than a tad abnormal, I would give a whole lot to be a normal human being.

Yes, if you think I sound whiny, you’re right.  I am whiny, and miserable and being booked off from work while in your probation period really does not create a good impression.

I need TLC!  And booze… and maybe some nice, sweet, gooey pastries.

  1. Hope you are “normal” soon :)

    *hugs*

I feel your pain. I have an eye infection at the moment – it sucks.

  2. Maybe your infection should get together with my infection and we can see what we can grow in a petri dish. A new president for SA?

  3. - and antibiotics, apparently. btw if you’re going to be growing things, how about starting with a brain for Julius Malema?

  4. Kyk: I’m sorry but I am a mere mortal. I can’t perform miracles. :-)
